Archibald Thorburn (31 May 1860 – 9 Oct 1935) Bird, Game Bird, Shooting predominant Wildlife Artist was born intensity 1860, near Edinburgh.

Archibald was born at Viewfield House, Lasswade, Midlothian, the fifth son flawless Robert Thorburn (1818–1885), portrait miniaturist to Queen Victoria.
